Marrakech → Telouet → Ouarzazate
Crossing the Atlas & Telouet
Early departure via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m). Visit the historic Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet. Lunch on site.
Ounila Valley
Picturesque track through the Ounila Valley and its Berber villages to Ait Ben Haddou. Continuation to Ouarzazate for the night.
Ouarzazate → Draa Valley → Zagora
The Anti-Atlas & Agdez
Drive via the Tizi-n-Tinififft pass (1660m) to Agdez. Drive along the Draa Valley with its endless procession of palm trees and typical villages.
Tamgroute & Zagora
Arrival in Zagora. Excursion to Tamgroute to visit the ancestral Quranic library, the underground Kasbah, and the green pottery workshop. Overnight at the hotel in Zagora.
Zagora → Southern Tracks → Merzouga
Rock Engravings Track
Departure via the track towards Taftechna and Ait Ouaazique (famous for its rock engravings). Rejoin the road at Tazarine and Alnif for lunch.
Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi)
Arrival at the dunes via Rissani. Camel trek at sunset. Dinner and night in a nomad bivouac in the heart of the dunes.
Merzouga → Erfoud → Todra Gorges
Sunrise
Early wake up for the magical sunrise over the Sahara. Return by camel.
Palm Groves & Gorges
Track to Erfoud. Crossing the palm groves of Tourog and Tinjdad (lunch). Arrival at the spectacular Todra Gorges. Dinner and night at the hotel.
Todra → Dades → Valley of Roses → Ouarzazate
Walk & Dades
One-hour walk in the Tinghir palm grove. Departure towards Boumalne and the Dades Gorges. Lunch on site.
Roses Track & Skoura
Track towards Ait Youl crossing the Valley of Roses to Kelaa M'Gouna. Drive to Skoura to visit Kasbah Amridil. Arrival in Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Hollywood of Africa & Return
Visit to Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate. Return to Marrakech via the High Atlas. End of the trip.
